Directions to Blaengawney Cider
From M4 travelling West:
Exit M4 at Junction 25A Newport/Cwmbran
At roundabout take second exit signposted Cwmbran.
At next roundabout take second exit to Abergavenny – A4042
Follow that road across several roundabouts (about 7 miles), staying on the A4042.
When you get to the Pontypool roundabout (McDonalds is on that one) exit left to Pontypool/Newbridge A472.
At roundabout take first exit (straight on) to Newbridge staying on A472.
Follow road for about 4 miles till you get to village of Hafodyrynys.
Pass the Texaco garage on your left and take the first turning left – Herbert Terrace.
Drive up the mountain road till you get to the top and you see a small Y junction.
Turn left and carry on up the mountain road for about 300 metres where you’ll see the entrance to Blaengawney Farm on your right.
(There’s a house in the field just where you turn right)
Go through the 2 stone pillars and follow the dirt track road for half a mile where you’ll find us.
From M4 travelling East:
Exit M4 at Junction 28 Brynmawr.
Take first exit from large roundabout to Brynmawr – A467
At next roundabout take 3rd exit to Brynmawr – A467
Follow this road going over several roundabouts for about 10 miles.
When you get to the Newbridge roundabout 3rd exit still following A467 but soon after turn right into the Pantside Estate.
Drive up through the Estate and out the end at the top onto the country road.
About 100 metres along the country road you’ll see a Y junction on the top – turn right there.
Carry on up the mountain road for about 300 metres where you’ll see the entrance to Blaengawney Farm on your right.
